Building Tip of the Week: Applying Decals

Posted by aerobeez On November - 26 - 2014

Hey pilots, welcome back for another installment of Pete’s Tip of the Week! With Thanksgiving only a day away and Christmas just around the corner, there are likely some model building days in store! These tips are just the thing you need to help with that next build! Intended to help with all types of model building, these tips will help take your building to the next level. Even if you don’t own an Aerobeez plane or have yet to take the first step into becoming an RC pilot, we want to help you improve your model building, set-up, and eventually flying skills.

So without further ado, today’s tip will focus on: Applying Decals

When applying decals, use a water spray or light glass cleaner spray.  Lightly spray the surface where you would like to apply the decal.  This will allow the decal to be moved around.  When you are happy with the location, press out any air bubbles with a clean paper towel.  Let air dry and the decal will set in place.

Thank you as always for reading Pete’s Tip of the Week and check back for more each week!
