With summer quickly goes by, we want to take as many opportunities as we can when there is still long enough day time to fly our planes. This week we took our newly built 73″ Yak 54 to the field for some flying demo video. It was a sunny day with mild wind in southern California. Just want we need for some acrobatic flying. Yak 54 has always been one of my favorite planes because I just love classic radial engine design planes. The Yak 54 is one of the best aerobatic planes of its class.... more

Whenever we start building a new airplane, we want it looks good and fly right. We start by taking our times going through reviews and online videos and compare different kits.  Most ARF kits provide good quality parts and most hardwares but there are some parts you may still need to get separately, such as a switch.  Or maybe  you want something extra, something that can give you the extra strength, reduce some weight, and to give your plane the professional looks and performance. But we all... more

As most of our planes come with lots of pre-fabricated parts and quick assembly features, you may notice though the wheel pants for our 26% Yak-55M are not pre-drilled (Hey, we can’t make every too easy otherwise where is the fun right!) So, to better help  making your installation smooth and easy (and fun of course), I am posting the steps here on how to properly install the wheel pants on the Yak-55M. First, fit the wheel pant onto the landing gear where it’s supposed to sit.  Then... more

The videos are split to part 1 and 2.  The build recording is in part 2.  We thank him for doing such a great review... more

The MXS-R, made by MX Aircraft, is a modern aerobatic plane designed for air racing.  It was been featured in the Redbull Air Race series. The MXS is a single seater all composite aircraft.  It was designed using computerized solid modeling to maximize aerodynamic efficiency.  One thing to notice is the smooth, streamlined profile of the air frame.  Because it is made of carbon fiber, there is no rivets that are required to put metal panels together in metal frame aircraft, which further enhance... more

Aerobeez 65″ Sbach 342 20cc Profile ARF Plane

Profile planes are characterized by having a “2D” profile of an airplane it’s scaling after.  Because of the small body mass compared to a regular airplane, profile planes have extremely low wing loading and small body inertia. These characteristics allow the pilot to perform extreme 3D maneuvers.  Profile planes comes in many sizes and forms, from micro size foamies to large scale gas planes.  But they are all designed to do one thing-Extreme 3D! The Sbach 342 is a very nice... more

The Yak-55M is the modified version of the one of the best known Soviet aerobatic plane, Yak-55. The modification was made to accomodate a more aggressive and demanding acrobatic performance in competitions. We have re-designed and built a 30% scale version of this amazing classic aerobatic monster. This is a large scale Yak-55M plane which utilizes a 50-60cc gas engine for a true, realistic aerobatic flights. Some of the major characteristics about the Yak-55M is it’s radial engine design,... more
